LIDL APP

Concept development - UI/UX design - Customer communication - Adobe Illustrator

 

 

 

As a part of Lidl Denmark's new marketing strategy in summer/fall 2014, Lidl wanted a retail app specificly for the Danish market. The design should match the new visual universe introduced especially for this campaign and differentiate the supermarket from competitors such as Aldi. In plain words Lidl wanted to lose the German-feel of ugly discount shopping.

 

My role was to develop, present and correct a visual concept for this app (platform specific for both iPhone, iPad and Android) and being responsible of all designrelated communication with the customer and the development team. 

 

(Unfortunately the German headquarters stopped the app just 2 days before releasing to AppStore, telling its Danish little brother not to do any digital publishing on its own.)
